Intersection Improvements at W. Water Street, N. Meeting Street: The Contractor shall provide the necessary men and equipment to complete work outlined in the approved NCDOT Encroachment, which shall consist of, but is not limited to: concrete curb and gutter, pavement markings removal & installation, sidewalk concrete driveway connection, signage, seeding and mulching, traffic control within the right of way. All other items of work and incidentals shall be included as a “turnkey” project. The intersection identified will be converted to a 3 way stop in accordance with the approved NCDOT Encroachment. The Contractor shall meet with the NCDoT and City for a preconstruction meeting to go over all aspects of the proposed project. Items to include and get approved by NCDoT is a detour for the work area. The project will be permitted to be constructed during daylight hours.
