The Anchorage Health Department (AHD) is requesting a Contractor to provide congregate shelter operational services, and a Contractor, or multiple Contractors, to provide food services, at 1111 E. 56th Avenue to AHD for the period of July 1, 2024, through October 15, 2024. Services will be provided to up to 200 individuals experiencing homelessness. The facility provided by the Municipality of Anchorage for use as a congregate shelter will have: • Restrooms and shower facilities for Client use. • Laundry facilities. • Potable water. • Heat. • Snow removal services for parking lots and main entrances. • A secure location within the facility to store Client belongings. • Distinct male and female areas. • Fire Marshall certification for emergency sheltering.
