Bid A work shall consist of installing a new sanitary sewer force main that parallels the existing force main in the City of Burlingame. The total length of Bid A is approximately 4,034 linear feet. This work will include the extension of the new force main over two creek crossings to 1394 Rollins Rd., which is just south of Easton Creek. The estimated full length of the project is approximately 4,050 linear feet. The new force main will be installed with 12-inch of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe along Rollins Road. The construction method is anticipated to be conventional open trench and the sanitary sewer force main will typically be installed at 36-inch minimum cover within Burlingame right of way. Sewer mains shall be HDPE pipe within Burlingame right of way. In addition, Bid B work will include the rehabilitation of the 10-inch existing force main. The existing force main will be fitted with an 8-inch slip-lining for approximately 2,250 linear feet. Miscellaneous concrete and asphalt work will be performed as needed and will consist of approximately 165 square feet of sidewalk, 150 square feet of concrete driveway, and 65 square feet of concrete cap work.
