Specifications include, but are not limited to: Nether Providence Township will receive sealed bids for the Nether Providence Township Providence Road Pedestrian Walkway Improvements Project. The scope of work generally includes concrete sidewalks and curbing, asphalt pavement replacement, milling and overlay, associated pavement markings and other miscellaneous items. Bids will be submitted on https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ and will remain open until July 3, 2024 at 3:00 PM. Bids will be opened, and summary of the results will be made public after Bids are due. Faxed bids will not be accepted. The work indicated will be at a minimum, partially funded via Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF) grants from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania acting through the Commonwealth Financing Authority. The bidding process, contract, and conduct of the work must meet the requirements of the MTF grant agreements, which has been entered into by Nether Providence Township, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The agreements obligates Nether Providence Township to certain compliance requirements. If said compliance requirements are not followed, funding for the project will be at risk. Bidder’s attention is directed to the Technical Specifications Section of the bid package, which contains the MTF Reimbursement Agreements and related Additional Special Provisions as an attachment. These documents outline the specific requirements of the MTF program.
