Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose and intent of the Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified firms to provide on-call machinery and equipment repair services for Durham County Utilities Division. Machinery and equipment shall include, but not be limited to, mixers, gearboxes and pumps. The successful Contractor(s) shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supplies, appurtenances and transportation, unless specifically excepted, for satisfactory completion of services assigned on an as needed basis Examples of such services may include: 1) Repair and overhaul of pumps, mixers, or gearboxes provided by the TWWTP 2) Disassemble and reassemble a damaged piece of equipment 3) Installation of new piping at a pump station 4) Equipment inspections
