Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Install erosion control measures. 2. Strip topsoil and stockpile on‐site. Remove above‐ground vegetative growth (and vegetative materials from soil) and dispose of off‐site. 3. Crushed stone drainage apron with geotextile barrier along perimeter of east and west walls. 4. Regrade site to allow proper drainage away from existing sheds. 5. Re‐place topsoil; reseed site and re‐establish turf. 6. Provide temporary support of structure during foundation and sill replacement, and shoring and jacking for realignment of structure. Provide working drawings designed and stamped by CT licensed engineer. 7. Removal of existing structure foundation, existing wood sill, exterior skirt board, and exterior bottom wood siding board (attached to existing sill); dispose of removed material off‐site. 8. Excavation for installation of new exterior and interior concrete foundation system. Reuse excavated material for backfill around new concrete foundation. 9. Construct perimeter reinforced concrete walls/piers and footings with embedded anchors and Steel Bearing Plate Assemblies located at building corners, exterior and interior pier locations, and adjacent to entry openings. 10. Construct interior reinforced concrete column pedestals and footings with embedded anchors and Steel Baseplate Assemblies. 11. Construct cast‐in‐place reinforced concrete outer guy wire foundations with embedded anchors for securing perimeter guy wire. 12. Jack and realign frame to extent possible without causing additional damage to structure. 13. Openings in Exterior Walls a) Provide Bay Door closure panels (north and south side of structure.) b) Provide Temporary Man‐door closure panel (north and west side of structure.) c) Provide Temporary Access Door (south side of structure.) 14. East and West Walls: Install new interior longitudinal diagonal bracing system. 15. Interior Columns: Re‐secure connections of diagonal bracing members. 16. Exterior Transverse Bracing System (Guy Cable System). New exterior guy cable with new steel connection system at top of exterior wall plate and transverse bracing (on east and west walls), and new foundation system. 17. Transverse Horizontal Bracing at Top of Wall: Install hurricane clips at all horizontal bracing locations except at locations of guy wire connections. 18. Repair Column 4E. 19. Remove and dispose of asphalt and wood shingles, and membrane underlayment (if any.); metal ridge vents; and raised ridge vents. 20. Remove, store on‐site, and protect metal roof vent pipes with caps. 21. Rafter Bracing including full length bracing beams with upgraded connection systems at rafters and horizontal rafter ties. 22. Structural panel sheathing, metal drip edges, asphalt shingles with membrane underlayment, painted soffit fascia boards, and reconstructed raised ridge vents. 23. Reinstall existing metal roof vent pipes with caps. 24. Reconstruct raised ridge vents.
