The work consists principally of performing NDE structural weld inspections of ASPA Pinto Island Slab Handling Cranes 1, 2, and 3 based on the requirements as indicated in the Structural Inspection Manual and Specifications. The structural weld inspection will include visual testing (VT), magnetic particle testing (MT), liquid penetrant testing (PT), ultrasonic testing (UT), and bolt testing (BT). The work will also include the reinspection of any areas that are repaired as a result of the inspection findings. The Contractor shall provide two (2) inspectors on-site throughout the inspection process and confirm continuity of inspectors throughout the inspection of all three cranes. Access equipment will be provided by ASPA. All cleaning, paint removal, potential repair work, and repainting will be completed by ASPA.
