Specifications include, but are not limited to: The services to be performed are Comprehensive Operational Asset Management and Support Services for the MDTA’s Division of Operations and may be used Authority-wide. Project assignments will depend on the MDTA's workload. It is anticipated that project assignments will be funded with 100% MDTA funds. After review of the Technical Proposals, it is anticipated the MDTA will enter into negotiations with the top ranked Firm for a contract valued at $8 million and for a five (5) year term. The MDTA reserves the right to modify the number of contracts and the dollar value of each as it deems appropriate. All work will be by task orders, which will define in detail the work scope, schedule, manpower, and cost of each task order. Contract award is subject to receipt of necessary funding and approval by the Maryland Board of Public Works. This Contract will provide comprehensive engineering, construction, operational and maintenance services for operational needs for Asset Management, Engineering, Construction, E-ZPass Operations, Facilities Operations, Support Services, and Traffic Management and Technology. The Consultants shall provide support for MDTA’s Asset Management initiatives such as assisting with TSO Asset Management plans and directives such as: enhancing the capabilities of the Enterprise Asset Management database known as MAXIMO, enhancing preventative maintenance and warranty programs and acting as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for various operational systems such as HVAC, fire alarm/fire suppression, elevator, plumbing, roofing and other transportation asset systems. Supporting MDTA for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO), and new technology innovations with Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAV) and Electric Vehicles (EV)
