Specifications include, but are not limited to: The objectives of the proposed Plan are to: Rev. Date 5/23/2024 | Page 2 (a) Update previous work related to water resource planning; (b) Reflect current regulatory requirements; (c) Anticipate emerging water-related issues; (d) Evaluate a complete range of alternatives; (e) Make recommendations that address the water resource needs of the entire Town; and (f) Identify funding sources for future planning and implementation. The Plan will provide guidance for Town’s officials and its residents. Residents and other Town boards have expressed concerns about the quantity and quality of water available, the need to conserve water, sustainability, and the effects of climate change. Previous water resource planning work conducted by the Town is described below. Section 2.6 provides citations for referenced documents.
