Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall do all work and furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary to complete the scope of work within the time set forth in the Contract and any subsequently written Change Orders or Field Directives. Work will include: 5.2.1 Remove and salvage existing slate shingles on selected portions of the Nims Mansion Roof including the entire northern stairwell roof, drip edges, wedges, valleys, vertical walls, and gable ends, and as noted on the plans. 5.2.2 Protect adjacent construction including wood trim elements, stone façade, stucco. 5.2.3 Remove and replace copper cricket over membrane underlayment around chimney. 5.2.4 Remove and replace lead wedged copper flashing at all vertical masonry walls. 5.2.5 Remove and replace membrane flashing at valleys with copper valley flashing overlaid on membrane underlayment. 5.2.6 Remove and replace copper drip edge, facia and wood frieze board at all dormers. 5.2.7 Remove all existing gutters and downspouts and turn over to St. Louis County Parks. 5.2.8 Salvage and reinstall existing copper scupper. 5.2.9 Anchor new copper gutters and downspouts around the roof perimeter. 5.2.10 Patch damaged roof over the northern stairwell, overlay membrane and shingles with synthetic material per project specifications. 5.2.11 Replace sheathing board, patch underlayment, and reinstall slate shingles on remaining exposed portions of the roof.
