Specifications include, but are not limited to: Time frame: 6 Months How many: 3 GED Tutors Total # of youths Service: 1-2 per day Requirements: bachelor’s degree and two years of teaching experience basic reading, writing and math skills to young adults or at-risk high school students. GED tutors is responsible: for creating lesson plans for test review courses to help young adults earn the equivalent of a high school diploma. Assess each student for potential learning challenges and customize the curriculum to cater to their strengths. Instruction covers the content commonly found in the five GED sections and includes basic test-taking strategies for success. Track youths’ progress by administering informal practice exams and adjusting their teaching to address specific weak areas.
