Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) is issuing this Request for Quotes (RFQ) to solicit quotes for a Contract with an appropriate California Licensed, insured, and bonded General Contractor who can, directly or indirectly through a subcontractor, provide construction services on multi-family residential dwellings. Bidders are advised that this RFQ is an informal solicitation and should not be construed as engaging in a formal competitive bidding pursuant to any statute, ordinance, rule, or regulation. The HUD Healthy Homes Program addresses multiple childhood diseases and injuries in the home. The program addresses a variety of environmental health and safety concerns including, but not limited to mold, lead, allergens, asthma, carbon monoxide, home safety, pesticides, and radon. Subject properties are multi-family properties of five (5) or more units built prior to 1978. The scopes of work are based on the Scope of Work (Appendix B).
