Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful firm shall provide services to the Town of Mansfield related to developing of the Plan of Conservation and Development in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes (CGS) Section 8-23. Successful firms will have an understanding of recent trends in planning and development, affordable housing, economic development, diversity equity and inclusion and environmental stewardship. Additionally, firms will have a demonstrated record in engaging diverse stakeholders. While the final project plan will be developed with the selected firm, it is anticipated that the scope of services will generally consist of the following components: 1. Project Initiation and Management 2. Review Existing Plans and Regulations 3. Community Engagement and Stakeholder Involvement 4. Data Collection and Analysis 5. Vision and Goal Setting 6. Plan Development 7. Public Review and Revision 8. Final Plan and Adoption 9. Implementation Strategy
