The scope of work may consist of all locations requiring ADA improvements in the public rightof-way in Palm Desert. Locations shall, but are not limited to, the Desert Willow Golf Resort and all affordable housing properties as part of the Palm Desert Housing Authority. The City and selected contractor shall develop cost estimates on as-needed basis contingent upon the content of the proposal and range identified in the unit of measure in the cost proposal. The cost proposal should clearly include all quantities and costs (ranges) by the appropriate unit of measure and based on economies scale. The Project will modify and repair curb ramps so they are compliant with ADA requirements. The project will also repair and replace damaged sections of sidewalks. The work will consist of mobilization, traffic control, sawcut and removal of concrete, construction of concrete improvements, construction of asphalt concrete patch, installation of a traffic signal pull box, installation of truncated domes, and installation of flexible crack filler material. The Contractor shall perform all work within the time agreed upon with the City, and shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, utility services, and transportation to complete all of the Work required in strict compliance with the contract documents.
