Coastal Carolina University seeks a source to provide Anthology Engage Institution software a for a three (3) year period. The “Engage Institution” software is the primary organization management platform for the University. Engage Institution includes the following modules: Core, Co-Curricular Paths, Data Importing, Card Swipe, Campus-Wide Elections, Event Check-In App, Org Accounting, Service Management, and API. Through Engage Institution, students, faculty, and staff are able to register and manage all aspects of the University’s 180+ student organizations. These groups allow students to feel more connected and a part of the University, as well as potentially increase their learning in areas outside of the classroom. Student Organizations are also directly linked to positive retention rates for the University. In addition to student organizations, many departments also have accounts, allowing them to easily communicate with students and use the features of the system. The “Event check-in app” add-on to the Engage system allows organizations, departmental programs, and offices the ability to provide touchless check-in for all events. In addition, Event Check-In allows individuals to export a list of attendees, send out evaluations to those that attended an event, and is an important tool for Contract Tracing in regards to COVID-19. The ability to have these services has allowed groups to streamline the administration of their groups and events, while also allowing for easier tracking of individuals on campus.
