Specifications include, but are not limited to: The UNIVERSITY seeks to accomplish the following objectives with services to conduct a Hawaii nursing workforce projection: A. Provide an estimate of projected nursing workforce supply in Hawaii, projected demand for nursing services in Hawaii, and the degree of any imbalance between projected supply and demand. B. Provide a nursing workforce projection including graphs of the projection and tables of the underlying data; and technical documentation for the projection, including all assumptions of the statistical model used in the projection, information about the source(s) of data used to estimate future demand for nursing services, and how the data were acquired. C. Provide a nursing workforce projection final report which includes a description, analysis, and interpretation of the projection; and discusses possible implications of the projection for nursing workforce development in Hawaii.
