Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project’s scope shall include but is not limited to the following: the improvement of existing Lake conditions through sediment removal including draining and dredging; the installation of a bentonite clay liner system; the improvement of in-lake treatment by improving the recirculation system and incorporating in-lake chemical treatment; and the addition of constructed wetlands and bioswales along the Lake perimeter. Park improvements shall also include the following: improvements to existing, historically protected, terraced bioswales in the southeastern portion of the park; the installation of additional stormwater storage in the form of a subsurface 1.5 acre-feet capacity water quality unit and/or an additional 3.5 acre-feet capacity of in-lake storage; the installation of approximately 11,500 square-feet of porous pavement in paved boardwalk area near the Lake; and educational signage.
