Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Cold applied, asphalt modified bituminous membrane roofing over prepared substrate and insulation system. Contractor to remove and replace existing roof systems. Contractor to provide all necessary labor and materials to include, roof access, demolition, proper removal, and disposal of debris off property daily, carpentry, final taper design to be approved by Owner, insulation as required by municipal building code, and roofing membrane. MEP provided by Owner. 1. Remove existing roof system in its entirety down to the steel roof deck. 2. Install the specified roof insulation system and roof recovery board in accordance with Division 7 Section 22 00 “Roof Insulation” 3. Install the specified modified roof system in accordance with Division 07 Section 55 00 “Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing - Cold Applied” 6. Apply aluminum coating over field and flashings. 7. Install new gutters and downspouts as specified. 8. Prior to roof demo. Provide pipe extension for all pipe vents. Four-inch (4”) steel steam vents to be extended to finish of eight- and one-half foot (8’6”) above finished roof. Passive two-inch (2”) plumbing vents to be twelve inches (12”) above finished roof. 9. Provide rust mitigation, such as rust retardant (OSPHO) or approved equal to all rusted plumbing steel vent pipes, steel exhaust stacks and existing continuous passive steel roof vent. 10. Install new paint over the existing continuous passive roof vent. Rust-Oleum enamel or approved equal (Color: Bronze) 11. Demo existing mesh wire and install new pest access prevention system to existing continuous passive roof vent with galvanized 14ga, ¼” hardware cloth mesh and ½” x ½” x 1/8” galvanized angle, riveted and sealed to all edges.
