Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, insurance, and services to construct a new 1 million gallon per day (mgd) surface water treatment plant, located on the University of California, Davis main campus in Yolo County, CA. Specific project elements include: Construction of a surface water treatment plant with chemical pre-treatment, membrane filtration, granular activated carbon (GAC) filtration, and disinfection; Construction of an approximately 6,700 square foot single-story CMU process equipment building; Construction of a 0.8 million gallon disinfection and storage tank; Construction of washwater recovery basins and a washwater return pump station; Construction of a 0.9 mgd treated water pump station; Installation of approximately 2,300 lineal feet of 12- inch PVC raw water pipeline; Installation of approximately 4,700 lineal feet of 12-inch PVC treated water pipeline; Installation of approximately 1,200 lineal feet 8-inch to 12-inch PVC sanitary sewer pipeline; Construction of electrical service, motor control centers, PLC-based controls, and instrumentation; Construction of site improvements including site grading, yard piping, lighting, security features, perimeter fencing, and a stormwater infiltration basin; and Pump replacements and electrical and controls upgrades to existing raw water pump station. Trade work includes, form work, concrete, steel (rebar and framing), cement plaster, metal framing, casework, complete electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, fire alarm and fire sprinklers, and paving.
