Specifications include, but are not limited to: Upgrading Water Treatment Plant No. 5 from 4 MGD to 6 MGD. The work includes, but is not limited to the following major components: An expansion of the existing two-story filter building, one (1) induced draft aerator, two (2) sedimentation basins, two (2) dual-media sand filters, a one story electrical building, SCADA systems integration, rehab of existing four (4) sedimentation basins, replacement of existing four (4) dual media filters, replacement of existing three (3) high-service pump motors, replacement of one (1) existing backwash pump (including motor and discharge), replacement of two (2) existing aerators, replacement of existing filter controls, replacement of chlorine feed equipment, repainting of existing filter building and piping, various renovations and rehabilitation work, sitework, electrical work, yard piping, erosion control, and all necessary appurtenances for a complete project.
