Doors are to have electric operator to control full range of motion of the door. LOCATION: Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development District 03 Building #5 Mechanic Shop 228 Rue des Voyages Lafayette, LA 70508 SPECIFICATIONS: Overhead Door Model 610 with Integrated Pass Thru door with appropriate options and standard features was used to develop these specifications and establish equivalency evaluation criteria. Doors of similar style, type, character, quality, features, and purpose conforming to the following detailed requirements/specifications shall be considered. For evaluation purposes, bidder's proposing an exception/equivalent option/feature to those specified herein, may be required to provide manufacturer/product information (catalogue sheets, detailed specifications, pictures, etc.). This information will be evaluated against the minimum requirements of this specification. Proposed submittals that are determined not to be equivalent to the established criteria shall be rejected. 1. Opening a. Doors to be installed in opening of approximately 22’ 11 ½” X 13’ 8” – Measurement to be verified by Contractor prior to bid and installation – site inspection available Monday thru Thursday 6:00 am to 3:30 pm 2. Mounting a. Right- Concrete, Between Jambs b. Left- Concrete, Between Jambs c. Lintel- Concrete d. Header- Concrete 3. Curtain a. Curtain: Interlocking roll-formed slats (non-insulated) b. Endlocks shall be attached to each end of alternate slats c. Curtain to be of 20 gauge galvanized steel construction d. Curtain Interior, mounted above Lintel e. Wind load – Standard 20 PSF f. Curtain to have Curved Slat Profile C-275 measuring 2 ¾” in height x 7/8” wide g. Curtain wrapped on pipe h. Curtain to have Prime coat applied – 0.2 mills thick baked-on prime paint i. Top Coat 0.6 mils thick, baked-on Manufacturers standard white finish
