Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State is issuing this solicitation for the purposes of constructing a reroute of a western portion of the Big Red Trail at Greenbrier State Park in Boonsboro. Approximately 8,300 linear feet of new trail will be constructed. As part of the scope, approximately 1,850 linear feet of existing trail obsoleted by the reroute will be closed/reclaimed. The project includes trail development only - as route ties together existing developed park areas there is no need for additional parking, sanitary facilities, or other related infrastructure. Trail is natural surface singletrack primarily for recreation and open for use primarily by pedestrians and mountain bicyclists. Motorized use will not be permitted on constructed trails.
