Specifications include, but are not limited to: Tenant improvements to approximately 60,000 square feet of office space located at 5669 Gibraltar Drive in Pleasanton, California for Alameda County Child Support Services (ACCSS). Scope of work will focus on the replacement of the existing flooring. Contractor shall perform the flooring replacement and furnish the personnel, materials, and equipment to construct and replace the flooring to be phased on a section basis, as agreed with the ACCSS stakeholders and GSA. The contractor will be responsible for moving, relocating or lifting existing furniture prior to new flooring installation; may require to stage them outside of work area; return furniture back into space after completion of carpet replacement. Contractor shall protect all surfaces including, but not limited to, furniture, blinds, cubical walls, files, file cabinets, and all other items as necessary. The contractor is responsible for any damage to these items. Contractor shall demolition of carpet and other floor coverings, except for the tile flooring within the restrooms; Remove and haul away old materials Demo and haul away all existing rubber bases. Install new 4” rubber base throughout. Provide and install new patterned carpet tile, as pre-approved by ACCSS, except for break room to be LVT plank product, as shown on the Rendered Plan in Attachment A. Replace corner guards with clear, similar size, throughout. Add additional corners in recommended post areas. Work hours: Normal Work Hours: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, except for County Holidays. General cleanup and demobilization. Contractor shall do a pre-construction walk through with the County to review all aspects of the work including, but not limited to, the schedule, work hours, access, tenant impacts, and work procedures. It is solely the Contractor's responsibility to confirm all dimensions, measurements, and quantities required for this project.
