Specifications include, but are not limited to: Body Removal: Remove the complete body from the existing chassis. Completely strip the exterior of the body of all diamond plate, roll-up doors, rub rails, fenderette, light tower, rear step, lighting, drip rails and any other misc. items. Remove cord reels, wiring from R1&L1 compartment. These cord reel will not be reinstalled. Remove the Lukas Power unit and cord reels from the rear compartment. These will not be reinstalled. Completely pressure wash the entire body inside & out to remove any debris. Sand blast and strip the entire removed body and any defects will be remediated . Weld any holes that will not be used from previously installed equipment. ALL equipment removed from the body will be issued back to the Middlefield Vol. Fire company. BODYINSTALL: Once ready Install the body on the new chassis using new stainless-steel hardware. DIAMOND PLATE: Clean, buff and polish the diamond plate that was removed from the front of the body and over rear wheels of the. Re-install the cleaned diamond plate on the front and over the rear wheels of the body using new barrier material and new stainless-steel screws/bolts. Reseal & caulk all seams. The rear diamond plate will be removed and not re-used to allow for chevron striping on the rear of the apparatus body. GENERATOR / INVERTER: The current PTO generator, wiring and breaker panel will be removed without replacement. Supply and install one (1) Cummins 5000-Watt Inverter Model # CMN5000W. Location will be determined at the Pre construction meeting.
