Specifications include, but are not limited to: CRACK SEAL: Approved Crack Seal for cracks from 1/8" up to 1 ½” wide. All crack seal must be preapproved prior to installation. Approved Crack Seal for cracks larger than 1 ½” wide: NUVO / GAP as produced by Maxwell Products Inc. or approved equal. Cracks must be cleaned of all organic or other debris to the depth of the base material prior to sealing with crack filler. Properties of the seal crack filler shall be such as to be compatible with asphalt sealcoat. Crack sealing will be required where the asphalt meets a concrete surface, and/or meets the building foundation. Crack sealing must not leave a height of more than 1/8" above finished grade. Both crack sealing methods are to be warranted against settling for a one‐year period. All crack sealing is to be priced per pound. This price is to include all material and labor including the cleaning of the crack. Proof of the amount of material used will be required and is to be submitted with the invoice. All loose material must be removed before application of the seal coat; this labor is to be reflected in the square foot price. Take measures to prevent overspray. All overspray shall be removed. Seal coat is to be warranted for five years against wear off. Cost is to include all material and labor. Submit proposed product specifications and data with this RFP. Only provide the cost for the “Type II” slurry seal.
