The primary purpose of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to solicit proposals from qualified and experienced professional search firms to provide search and recruitment services for its’ Pension Funds Management division. PFM consists of investment, accounting, operational, legal and administrative professionals, and includes positions, such as, Chief Investment Officer, Principal Investment Officers, Senior Investment Officers for various asset classes. The Treasurer’s Office may experience vacancies from time to time for professionals in its PFM division, due to retirement, resignation or the creation of new positions based on the Treasurer’s Office’s organizational needs. The RFP is intended to allow the State the opportunity to work with a professional recruiting service to locate and recruit qualified candidates for investment, accounting, operational, legal and administrative related positions within its PFM division. The specific scope of services is more fully described in Section II of this RFP. The professional search firm will have experience placing investment related professionals in positions at public pension plans, State, municipal, or other governmental entities
