The scope of work includes (and is not necessarily limited to) the following general description of work: 1. Removing the exiting tile pavers from the terrace, grubbing and root raking, regrading the terrace to remove uplifted and damaged sections of the terrace and improve ADA accessibility and drainage, installing a new reinforced concrete slab throughout the terrace, and installing new tile pavers to match the existing tiles in color, size and material properties, as well as the unique and historic design. 2. Installation of new scuppers for proper drainage. 3. Infilling cavities along the foundation where the footing is not in contact with the fill limerock bearing layer. 4. Removing the tiles on the stairs and installing new tiles to match the existing color and size. 5. New footings at each of the stone columns. This work will require limestone facing at the bottom of the column/top of the new footing as well as selective demolition and repair work the adjacent stone planters. 6. Structural enhancements to the two stone pergolas. 7. Careful removal, protection and relocation of the existing trees and plants in the stone planters. 8. Repair of the previously inappropriate infilled cores in the stone columns.
