The County of Charleston (“County”) intends to establish a contract with two (2) Offerors to provide professional mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design and construction administrative services. These services are to be provided in support of the design, development, and construction of various Charleston County projects. The successful Offeror(s) must be licensed by the State of South Carolina. All studies, reports, drawings, and specifications must be prepared by a South Carolina registered professional engineer and must be signed and sealed in accordance with all applicable laws of the State of South Carolina. The successful Offeror(s) will provide all labor, material, equipment, information, and other items necessary, along with related professional services required to perform the Scope of Services as defined herein for each individual project. The County shall retain ownership of all documents, and any other data prepared, furnished, or obtained under the Contract. All above listed items will become the property of the County without restriction or limitation on their use. No material produced, whole or in part, will be subject to the copyright of the Engineer or his consultants.
