Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The following Square Footage for each gym are references only. Bidders to provide official measurements. Saxe Middle School - Aux Gym: Approximately 5,570 sq. ft. New Canaan High School - Aux Gym: Approximately 6000 sq. ft. South Elementary School - Main Gym: Approximately 3,500 sq. ft. 2. Perform repair at the New Canaan High School Aux. Gym floor by the outside doors (to be discussed at the walk through). 3. Perform all repairs to the gym floors maple surface as required. 4. Sand entire floor to bare wood. 5. Removal of all traces of existing finish, and game line painting leaving a bone smooth surface. 6. HEPA Vacuum entire floor system. Upon completion of sanding, a four coat of Bona DTS shall be applied as a sealer. 7. Floor should then be abraded and throughly cleaned again before applying game lines and arfwork with Bona Supersport Paint, and finally the 2 coats of Bona Elite in Satin. 8. Repaint all existing game lines with same colors. Provide color chart to school for final approval. 9. Provide an update of the center court 12 foot center logo and shading of three point line as per existing. 10. All materials and procedures shall conform to the M.F.M.A. Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association. Contractors shall provide process with submitted bid.
