Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Thomas & George Street Project is broken into three phases. The first two phases will create a safer pedestrian friendly walking path along Thomas Street from Bond Street to Kelly Avenue Park. It involves the installation of a paver pathway, handicap ramps and replacing damaged sidewalk, and curb & gutter. In addition, traffic calming devices will be installed to make that area more walkable. Finally, repair and add storm drain inlets, manholes, and piping to improve drainage, mill, and overlay the existing pavement. Phase three of the project will involve installing curb and sidewalk along Boulton and George Street to create a safer walking path for those two blocks. All in accordance with the plans that are approved and part of this bid.
