The A/E firm is required to perform the work specified herein. In submitting a proposal, the A/E firm represents that it is qualified and capable of providing all the requirements of this RFP. Also, the A/E firm is invited to provide a substitute Scope of Work that is consistent with the requirements outlined below and appropriate for a project of this caliber. The A/E firm shall state features, skills and/or services which distinguish the A/E firm that make it the best choice for the City. Additional information or tasks which, in the A/E firm's opinion, should be included must be clearly identified. The A/E firm is required to provide services specified in the RFP, its proposal, and the executed contracts. The City of Tracy is seeking proposals to select an Architectural and Engineering Consultant (A/E) with demonstrated expertise in aquatic center design, sustainable/environmentally responsible design, and preparation of construction documents. Basic Architectural Services: These services include the following: a) Architectural services; b) Structural engineering services; c) Civil engineering services; d) Mechanical engineering services; e) Electrical engineering services; f) Low voltage systems services (e.g. IT, AV, Security and Automation Systems); g) Landscape architectural services; h) Interior design (e.g. fixed finishes, furnishings, furniture, and equipment); i) Permitting services for site development and/or land use permits; j) California Green Building Code Tier 2 compliance; k) Architectural cost consultant/estimating services throughout design; l) Site survey services including a full Record of Survey including new monuments at the perimeter of the project site; m) Geotechnical Engineering services; n) Cost estimating services; o) Building Commissioning Agent services; p) Furnishings Procurement & Acceptance; q) CEQA environmental documentation; Assume a MND for subcontracting with a CEQA consultant; r) Below grade corrosion protection evaluation and recommendations; s) County of San Joaquin health department approvals as required. t) Other design and engineering services as normally and reasonably required for a project of this size and scope.
