Specifications include, but are not limited to: Full time equivalent (FTE) Temporary Grant Funded (TG), and state temporary employees, (state employees) their dependents, and domestic partners will be eligible to receive six sessions per separate issue for assessment and short-term counseling per 12-month period. The provider may provide counseling in-person, telephonically, or video based on the participant’s preferences and clinical suitability. Dependents and domestic partners of state employee’s sessions are included in the six sessions per state employee. 3.1.2 At a minimum, the EAP program must include the services listed below on a statewide basis. Over the life of the contract, the state and the Provider may opt to change the services to improve the program. Counseling and Advisement Services. Consultation Services to Employees. Elder Care Issues (referrals & general information). Financial Counseling. EAP Orientation – Assistance with the implementation and communication of benefits to employees. Alcohol and Substance Abuse Awareness program scheduled in coordination with SCVRD’ Human Resources. Given substance abuse’s significant impact on the workplace, the Provider must have specific knowledge, training and experience. in the assessment and treatment of chemical dependency and other addictions. Annual Tobacco Cessation program scheduled in coordination with SCVRD’ Human Resources. Depression, Anxiety, and Stress. Domestic Abuse Issues. Separation and Divorce Issues.
