Specifications include, but are not limited to: Cranbury Park located at 300 Grumman Ave, Norwalk, CT 06851, includes an expansive 227 acres offering a series of wooded trails and a dog-friendly environment in the orchard. The park also features a challenging 18-hole Disc Golf Course that winds in and out of the woods. The City of Norwalk is looking for engineering consultant to complete a Trail study, assess the existing trail system and develop specifications for enhancing the existing trails and potentially adding new ones.. The City is also open to the possibility of creating one or two new trails, provided they are deemed necessary and feasible. The Proposal shall include engineer develop professionally designed plans to construct the Trail. Such professionally designed plan shall include, but not be limited to information regarding: the trail configuration and length; the use(s) of the trail; the tread width of the trail; the grading of the trail; whether the trail is handicap accessible; parking lot(s) near trail; any material that will be used to resurface the trail such as gravel, wood plank or asphalt, removal of any trees and shrubs; nearby protected wetlands and vernal pools; and and signage on trails
