Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District’s overarching goal is to create a structurally stable, long-lasting, efficient well that functions at the desired volume and quality and enables ease of operation and maintenance. Professional services may include but are not limited to: • Utility services, record information, and field surveying. • Design drawings for production well construction (vertical hollow shaft), yard piping connections, arsenic treatment plant connection, and appurtenant facilities. o General sheets o Site plan o Site improvements, including improvements to provide discharge area(s) for Well No. 5 and future, reserve existing Well No. 2 operation. o Mechanical plan and profile of new pump wellhead o Mechanical and civil details, foundation plan o Water pipeline from well to existing water system and treatment system o Electrical, instrumentation and controls design o Contractor and manufacturer recommendations for best maintenance practices after construction • Final construction cost estimate • Site plan permitting and ADEQ permitting that provides for approval to construct and approval of construction. • Construction Bid Phase Support: Pre-bid attendance, response to bidder questions, and bid addenda information, if necessary. • Construction phase support – review of contractor submittals, response to RFIs, review test reports, clarification sketches resulting from unforeseen field conditions. • Field services limited to observing initial operation and testing of completed project as well as punchlist preparation.
