Specifications include, but are not limited to: SBMWD has identified the need to replace aging and undersized water main in the Intermediate Pressure Zone. The Scope of Services includes but is not limited to: furnish all material, labor, and equipment to replace existing water mains, install approximately 1,167 linear feet of 8" diameter and approximately 30 linear feet of 6" diameter cement mortar lined ductile iron pipe along with other associated work as shown in the project plans and specifications for Specification No. 1738. Each Bidder shall show that he/she has completed the construction of three (3) similar projects of similar size and complexity within the last five (5) years for a similar size and type of agency. Minority and disadvantaged businesses are strongly encouraged to submit bids for this project as a prime contractor. Minority and disadvantaged businesses are also encouraged to reach out to prime contractors to partner up as subcontractors on portions of the project that they are able to perform. All contractors must follow the Special provisions Section of the Technical Specifications and comply with all applicable general law, regulations, executive orders, FEMA policies, procedures, and directives. Contractors are required to submit with their bids the Federal Forms contained in Appendix AA.
