Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University shall: • provide course instructor who is employed with the University. • provide two (2) kayaks for class use. • provide and maintain snorkel equipment. The Contractor shall: • provide eight (8) kayaks for class use, including paddles and personal flotation devices. • provide air tanks and air fills; scuba regulators including safe alternative second stage, submersible pressure gauge, depth gauge; buoyancy compensator device with low pressure inflator. • ensure safe operation and maintenance of scuba life support systems at all times. • store all scuba equipment off-site. • provide onsite personnel to service and repair equipment as needed during the classes. • be responsible for all costs for required licenses, permits, and insurance. • be responsible for all cost associated with the delivery of the equipment. • deliver kayaks at the beginning of each semester and remove kayaks at the end of each semester and/or when pool events require removal of kayaking equipment. • deliver scuba equipment on Monday through Thursday for all scheduled course sessions per semester. • deliver scuba equipment no later than 7:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday with the removal of scuba equipment at 10:30 p.m.
