Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Sale Dates – Fall 2024 Monday, August 19, 2024 through August 23, 2024 (5-day sale) - Opportunity to extend days if dates/opportunity align with Contractor. Monday, January 13, 2025 through January 17, 2025 (5-day sale) * Russell House Ballroom C would be the target location; however, university space needs may require adjustments to space and/or date Note: Dates for renewal years will be determined in the future around the academic calendar year. 2. Sale Hours Daily from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM 3. Upfront costs to Contractor a. Tent rental: $3,500.00 (estimated; based on 2022 and 2023 price quotes) per sale b. Solicitation Fee: $50 per day fee (assessed per USC Policy) per sale (2) c. On-Campus Advertising, if desired: see Garnet Media Group for rates and dates d. Poster Sale Onsite Security: $20/hour; would be scheduled during sale hours e. Overnight Security: To maintain outdoor tent. $20/hour 4. In-persons Sales Tracking a. Contractor confirms mechanism to account for Richland County sales tax on daily sales sheets. b. Contractor confirms ability to provide an online/cloud-based accounting system to keep track of sales at point of purchase, to be reported daily to Russell House. c. Contractor confirms ability to communicate daily sales report to Russell House at close of each sale day, to review and confirm daily sales, tax, and plans for the next sale day. 5. Marketing a. Contractor confirms ability to provide ten (10) vouchers for each sale (2) to award USC students on social media for advertising/promotion (RH will run the promotion). 6. Commission a. Outline Pre-tax percentage of sales, and a flat rate for each sale. The higher rate will be applied at the conclusion of each sale.
