Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Approximately 40 ft by 82 ft reinforced concrete building with sound proofing and ventilation; • Four 8.33 MGD, variable frequency driven pumps with instrumentation and controls; • New electrical service from PG&E, installation of new transformer and switchgear; • Optional scope item: In-conduit hydroelectricity generation unit (includes microturbine, control valve, piping and electrical/control panels); • Space planning for portable emergency generator connection and connection panel with electrical connections for portable diesel tank and transfer pump; • Replacement of two air valves at 1303 Walnut Street, and at Crocket Pumping Plant (under package to be constructed by District forces); • Approximately 90 feet 36-inch influent pipe and 70 feet of 36-inch discharge pipe; • Approximately 725 feet of storm drain to be connected to the City of San Pablo’s collection system; • Programmable logic controller and remote terminal unit for integration into the District’s SCADA system; • Site improvements including new grading, paving, fencing, stormwater features, and landscaping. The estimated construction contract for this facility is approximately $18 million.
