Specifications include, but are not limited to: providing engineering services to design an approximately 9-acre pond for the West Diversion East Pond project. This project was conceptually outlined in the existing STP Water Management Study by DDG, Providence, and Greenpoint, dated December 2014 as a possible mitigation measure for flooding and water quality issues in the region. The exact location of the pond is to be determined based on the modeling completed in this study. Other immediate downstream and upstream drainage improvements, may be considered as proven necessary, by the study, to facilitate connectivity to the pond, which may include but is not limited to cross drains, side drains, storm drains, and ditches.
