Specifications include, but are not limited to: Solution must interface and be compatible with existing environment. Direct dialed intercom/two-way communication from all telephone parts to any or all locations equipped with a talkback speaker and or/one-way speaker zones. General Contractor to purchase and install (labor) Intercom paging system. Equipment will need to be installed in rack provided or equivalent. This is a turnkey complete project, with wiring/cabling connected and testing of paging system on site. System shall be compliant, upgradable, and integrate with our existing VOIP Fortinet Phone System using FXO Port connection for paging, ringing of bell schedules, and emergency calls inside and outside of the building. System shall be programmed and installed in the main telecom equipment room where existing wiring (split 66 blocks) to the individual classroom speakers and hallway speakers are located. The new paging system will also need to integrate with our local network in this room if needed. Contractor to install cross connect wiring from existing speaker split 66 block ports to the new intercom system equipment or use equivalent processes. All speaker ports are to be labeled with speaker room number/zone number and tested for proper operation. Documentation on maps for hallway speaker zones and classroom speaker locations will be provided by Union Schools technology department upon walkthrough of the site. Contractor shall program each individual speaker port, speaker zones (Hallways), and bell schedule times along with emergency tones. Contractor to provide direct dial codes for bells to ring, all building page, page into a classroom by room number, and to sound emergency tones to all speakers in the school building. Speaker Zones for Hallways will only need a one-way page communication. Classroom and office speakers will need to have two-way speaker communication. System shall have login for the new paging system to be administered by Union Schools Tech or office staff for setting of bell schedules, grade level paging, volume control, and emergency zone paging.
