Specifications include, but are not limited to: GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. The State is not liable for vandalism or damage, which may occur to the toilets under any circumstances. 2. Failure to comply with the specifications and requirements of the contract at any site may result in termination of the contract or the termination of the particular site from the contract. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS: 1. Provide, deliver, setup, service, pump, maintain, and remove portable toilets meeting specifications per terms of the contract. 2. Provide all equipment; transportation, labor, tools, supplies, and all else necessary to complete the work identified in the contract. 3. Pay all applicable taxes, license fees and other fees required to perform this work. 4. Complete delivery and setup at each site no later than 4:00 p.m. of the start date for the site. The Department of Natural Resources Area, Parks & Trails Supervisor, will identify the location of toilet unit at each site. 5. Pickup and removal of units shall be completed within two days following the end date for the site. 6. Repair damage or vandalism to any unit(s) immediately or replace the unit(s) within 24 hours. TOILET UNIT REQUIREMENTS: 1. Esthetically pleasing as not to conflict with the visual character of the site. Earth tones are preferred. The State reserves the right to determine if the color is acceptable and to reject any unit on that basis. 2. Be in good condition with no holes through the exterior walls or leaky roofs. The State reserves the right to determine if condition is acceptable and to reject any unit on that basis. 3. One-piece, plastic construction. 4. Interior latch for privacy. 5. Provide maximum ventilation with floor vents, window vents and a high-volume vent pipe. 6. Sanitary seat deck and floor design. 7. Anti-slip floor surface. 8. No dangerous protrusions, edges or catch points. 9. Nonporous interior surface to prevent bacterial absorption. 10. Outside emergency access to prevent trapped children. 11. Toilet structures on all sites on which wheelchair-accessible (ADA) toilets are required must meet acceptable industry standards.
