Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Education o Arrange and host WUI Community HOA Meetings o Prepare Educational Webinars; create and distribute printed materials on the following topics: ■ D-Space: How and Why ■ HMM Home Hardening ■ Other National, State and local wildfire Initiatives o Restore Utah Living with Fire Program https://www.livingwithfire.com/ or a similar program (possibly working with Utah Extension and FFSL) o Work with the Extension Program to create an outreach/education program creating community events for: • Kids • Community members • Local government officials • HOA's o Develop and locate educational lesson plans and materials for local schools o Build WUI Event Kits/School Visit Kits to facilitate event attendance by FFSL o County Education on All Things Wildfire: Building Codes, CC&Rs, Prevention, Planning, etc. o Quarterly and Annual Reporting o Evaluate county WUI codes and processes for building in the WUI ■ Identify discrepancies or improvements in codes, CCR's and ordinances on a county and community level ■ Hazard Mitigation methodology
