Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Moving Services i) Provide internal moving services within the building at 2725 Waimano Home Road, Pearl City, Hawaii 96782. ii) Contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, transportation, and labor to safely move equipment and items within SLD. iii) Items to move will vary in size. Items will include smaller items like boxes and tabletop appliances and large equipment which may require several people to move safely. A description of items to move or a site visit can be provided before each move to determine the number of people needed. iv) Billing shall be based on time spent per man. Time shall include up to 1 hour of travel time plus actual time spent on site per scheduled move. v) Some items may be located within laboratory locations which may require workers to wear personal protective equipment provided by SLD. This may include lab coats, gloves, and shoe covers. vi) After service, the premises shall be left in a clean and tidy condition. vii) All work shall be done in compliance with all applicable Local, State, and Federal laws and regulations. viii) Contractor shall have insurance in the required amounts and provide the State with a Certificate of Insurance (COI) which covers the whole term of the services to be provided. See attached COI template for details regarding the insurance amounts and other requirements. ix) While the total amount of services required are not known at this time, SLD expects to require several additional small moves (average time on site 1 - 2 hours, 2 – 3 men) in addition to the dates listed below. x) Initial dates for moving services are as follows: June 19, July 1, July 9, and July 30. xi) Period of award for services shall be from June 15, 2024, through and including December 14, 2024. xii) SLD shall request service at least 3 weeks prior to the move date for any additional move dates that have not been specifically included as part of this solicitation. xiii) Billing/payment: Vendor shall provide an invoice to SLD after each service. xiv) All work shall be during regular work days and hours.
