Specifications include, but are not limited to: The SC Governors School for Agriculture at John De La Howe is soliciting bids for a licensed propane distributor to furnish, and deliver liquid propane to existing storage tanks located throughout campus. The Contractor shall furnish all required tanks at the locations listed in Table 1, as needed, for the life of the contract. This includes delivery and removal of tanks at the beginning and end of the contract period. All tanks shall be above ground tanks. The agency expects to add four additional tanks in the future (Boys Residential Hall, Savannah Residential Hall, Abbeville Residential Hall, and IT Room) of 1,000-gallon capacity to serve new generators. Each will need to be filled when added. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to coordinate with the agency to fulfill propane needs throughout the life of the contract. Deliveries must be made between the hours of 8:30 am and 3:00 pm Tuesday through Friday. Signatures of staff at the respective location must be obtained on delivery tickets at time of delivery. The Contractor must be able to fulfill delivery request(s) within twenty-four hours of written or verbal request. The Contractor will be required to furnish a local telephone number or a toll-free number where orders for deliveries can be placed by the agency.
