Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Scope and Classification o Scope: The intent of this Request for Proposals and resulting contract is to provide the City of Lebanon with information concerning cleaning services. The work covered in these specifications consist of furnishing labor, equipment, and cleaning supplies in performance of all operation to provide complete building cleaning services. o Classification: The cleaning services specifications shall be of the following types either “equal to “or “better than”. 2. Specifications o Areas in which services are to be rendered: Internal building areas, interior and exterior windows. o Personnel: The janitorial service should employ only qualified operators and workers who are skilled in the performance of janitorial work. o Security: The janitorial service should screen all employees and require satisfactory personnel references and hire only those whose honestly is above question. o Appearance of Employees: All employees of the janitorial service should be neatly attired, with company identification (uniform shirts and/or identification badges), at all times, in a manner that would reflect positively both upon their company and the building in which they are working. o Sweep and mop all tile floors throughout building o Vacuum all carpeted areas o Cleaning of breakroom and kitchen areas (floors, counters, refrigerators, microwaves and sink) o Cleaning and disinfecting all bathrooms (floors, sinks, toilets, etc.) o Restocking of all bathrooms and kitchen areas with tissue, soap and towels o Dust all accessible areas including desks & flat top surfaces o Empty all trash and shredder receptacles in all accessible areas o Emptying of all cigarette/trash receptacles outside of each exterior door(s) o One Time deep cleaning before weekly cleanings begin – including windows o Quarterly window cleaning (exterior and interior) in areas occupied by the Sanitation department
