Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and vehicles for the pumping out of the materials at each site into the contractor’s vacuum or jetting tank trunk, flushing of the various traps and stations, and then carting the material for approved disposal. At a minimum the vendor is required to: • Remove covers and remove water in trap and interceptor to facilitate cleaning discharged water into the sewer line. • Remove baffles when possible. • Remove the accumulated grease from the interceptor and put into water container. • Dump out the settled solids and remaining liquids • Scrape the sides, the lid, and the baffles with a putty knife to remove accumulated debris and place into water tight containers. • Replace the baffle and lid as designed by the manufacturer. • Refill liquids into the trap...
