Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Mississippi has recently announced its intent to award contracts to Ellucian (Student/Financial Aid), Huron (HCM/Finance), and Workday (HCM/Finance) for the University's new administrative system. The chart below provides the tentative timeline for implementation activities. It does not show the pre-planning activities, nor the extended support that will occur after go-live. UM will engage the services of a professional services organization with significant expertise and experience in project oversight to assist in successfully implementing the University's new administrative systems and keep the software implementation for administrative systems on task and on budget. The University is working on staffing, and the exact nature of the project oversight is still to be determined, so personnel should have broad experience in all areas of project oversight. UM desires a structured approach for project oversight, coordination with all functional experts and vendor partners, reporting on the current project status, and keeping the project leadership updated on issues and risks encountered. The proposed partner will be evaluated on their demonstrated ability to deliver on the following criteria: • Oversight of the implementation project(s) to ensure alignment with project goals, efficient use of resources, and timely mitigation of any challenges during the implementation. • Provide comprehensive planning documents, including resourcing plans, project plans, risk logs, project charters, etc. • Define roles and responsibilities framework. • Manage risks, track issues, and escalate appropriately to ensure stability and success. UM understands that organized oversight of the implementation is critical to success and therefore requires services from a highly skilled individual(s) who has the following experience: • Experience working with Workday or Ellucian products. • Experience in the entire ERP lifecycle, principally in implementation. • Experience providing professional project oversight and implementation services for higher education.
