Specifications include, but are not limited to: The following services will be provided for one (1) 16” Johnston Vertical Turbine Pump: • SANDBLAST ALL PARTS AND CLEAN DISCHARGE HEAD • WELD REPAIR DISCHARGE HEAD, REMOVE WASHED METAL AND WELD IN NEW PLATE • SAND BLAST SUCTION BELL AND REPAIR CAVITATION DAMAGE WITH BELZONA 1111 PER MANUFACTURER’S SPECIFICATIONS • RING WELD IMPELLER BORE AND MACHINE TO 0.001”-0.002” CLEARANCE FIT • BALANCE IMPELLER TO G1.0 • REPLACE ALL SHAFTING (4) 416 STAINLESS STEEL • REPLACE 3 SHAFT COUPLINGS 416 STAINLESS STEEL • REPLACE THREE (3) BRONZE BUSHINGS • REPLACE THREE (3) BRONZE BACKED MARINE SPIDER BUSHINGS • PAD WELD THREE (3) COLUMN PIPE REGISTER FITS AND MACHINE TO 0.002”-0.003” CLEARANCE FIT • ASSEMBLE WITH NEW STAINLESS FASTENERS • ASSEMBLE PUMP BACK TO FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS • PROVIDE AND INSTALL NEW CHESTERTON SPLIT SEAL UPON INSTALLATION 1. All fasteners and fastening appurtenances will be new 316 Stainless Steel. a. All removed fasteners and fastening appurtenances will be returned to MAWSS upon removal. 2. All replaced parts shall be returned to MAWSS after repair. a. Transportation of used parts to be provided by bidder and shall be concurrent with the transportation of the repaired pump. 3. All outside Columns and Suction bowl shall be coated a Coal Tar Epoxy per manufacturer’s specifications. 4. All above ground pump shall be coated with a Sherwin Williams Industrial Epoxy Paint. a. The color of the paint shall be “Monorail Silver” by Sherwin Williams. b. The paint type shall be dictated by the manufacturer’s recommendation of paint for the given surface. c. All painted surfaces will be prepared in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. d. Paint thickness shall be dictated by manufacturer’s recommendation for given surface.
