Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Remove existing walkway and roof. • Remove existing concrete slab. • Install new reinforced concrete slab that incorporates metal rails to support roll off dumpsters. • Width of slab to be approximately 56” (fifty-six inches) wide by 26’ (twenty-six feet) long to accommodate roll off dumpsters and walkway. • Walkway deck flooring shall be the same height as the flooring of the building to avoid trip hazards and maintain ADA compliance. • All new wood shall be pressure treated with the same dimensions as the existing structure • The hand railing shall be Composite Wood, gray in color. • New deck flooring shall be Composite Decking, gray in color. • All vertical beams shall be secured to the concrete slab using proper anchoring and anchoring adhesive. • New framing must be frost protected. • Roof shall be same height as current roof to one foot higher with a proper pitch to shed water and snow. • New walkway floor and roof framing must meet the CT building code. • New walkway deck floor must be able to carry a live load of 60 pounds/ square foot (pfs). • Install plywood base for roof. • Install tar paper & shingles. Shingles to be gray in color.
