The Public Works Department is looking for a contractor to install nine (9) overhead garage doors. The Doors being bid are numbered: #1,2,3,4,15,20,21,22,23 All doors are to be installed using manufacturer specifications. One (1) door (#15) is 16’-2” wide x 15’-1” high Four (4) doors (#20-23) are 14’-2” wide x 12’-1” high Four (4) doors (#1-4) are 12’-0” wide x 12’-0” high All doors must be 2 inches in depth. All doors must be Steel and Insulated, and White in color. All doors must have Four (4) Insulated windows spread evenly across the third panel up from the bottom except #15. Door #15 must have nine (9) windows. All tracks, springs, and molding shall be replaced with Rubber and Vinyl, and White in color to match Phase 1 doors. All electrical connections for the doors shall be disconnected and reconnected by the contractor. Any photo cells shall be disconnected and reconnected by the contractor. All debris, especially screws, nails, and other sharp objects must be picked up during & after the installation process. Contractor is responsible for removal of all existing doors, tracks, and springs. All work shall be properly lubricated, adjusted and tested. Contractors must work between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and be done by 3:30 p.m.
